The Ghost of You and Me by Kelly Oram

How do you tell someone who hates you and blames you for the death of his best friend that you miss him?

From the bestselling teen and young adult author of Cinder & Ella comes a new heart-wrenching romance sure to bring all the feels.

The tragic death of Spencer Schott unravels the lives of the two people he loved most—his girlfriend, Bailey, and his best friend, Wes. Secrets and guilt from that fateful night keep both Bailey and Wes from overcoming Spencer’s loss and moving on with their lives.

Now, nearly a year later, both Bailey and Wes are still so broken over what happened that Spencer can’t find peace in the afterlife. In order to put his soul to rest, he’s given one chance to come back and set things right…even if that means setting up his girlfriend with his best friend.

What I loved:

  • This book hooked me quickly. (I started it on my lunch break… probably not the best idea)

  • Even though I could guess some of what happened there were still surprises.

  • I stayed up waaay

too late finishing it! (Not the first or last time THAT will happen)

  • It is a clean romance… No smut! (So rare these days)

  • It has a Pride & Prejudice vibe which is also frustrating! If they had just talked honestly to each other things would have been smoother (But less entertaining of course)

Not So Much:

  • The whole beauty loved the geek seemed farfetched for me. Not that it couldn’t happen but it doesn’t feel completely realistic in this book (sweet but something wasn’t right about it for me… maybe that it was emphasized so much)

Before this book tour I had never read a Kelly Oram book but I am excited to read more of her books in the near future!

When I looked her up it said she wrote her first book (fan fiction) at 15!! That is crazy to me…

She lives in Arizona with her husband and four kids… and a cat named Mr. Darcy (I would like her just because of that if nothing else!)

I will definitely be reading more of her books so give this book a chance and tell me what YOU thought!

*I received a copy of this book free but this is my honest review.
