April Sum Up & May Look Out

April has been a whirlwind for me!

In trying to figure out where I put which review I ended up posting more often than I intended. I hope you don’t mind 🙂

Spelled

An amazing retelling of the Wizard of Oz. Dorothea is the princess of OZ and is subject to a family curse. It has a beautiful cover too!

Silence Fallen (A Mercy Thompson Novel)

One of my favorite series! This one takes you out of America and gives you a beautiful landscape to go with the danger and pack politics.

Chasing Impossible

One of my favorite characters and a romantic match up I wouldn’t have put together. It works really well though and they both learn to trust their secrets to those that matter.

The Valiant

I’m not really a fan of historic stories but a gladiator is hard to pass up! I knew that I like Lesley Livingston’s other books so I figured I would this one also. I had a lot of strong emotions about this story but it was worth the read!

May Books!!

  1. A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3) by Sarah J. Maas – I am going to try and do a mini review of the first two books in preparation for this one.
  2. Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices, #2) by Cassandra Clare -One of my favorite authors (possibly THE favorite until Sarah J. Mass) I do not know if I will start this series because it is just too hard to wait on the next one and much better to save it until they are all out. However, if you do not care about having to wait please read any and all of her books!
  3. Textrovert by Lindsey Summers – Accidently grabbing the wrong phone Keeley agrees to forward texts to the egocentric football jock, Talon for a week, while he forwards her texts to her. During the week he is at football camp they unexpectedly get to know each other.
  4. True to You by Becky Wade – The first book relating to the “Then Came You” Novella

It is not good for me to look at upcoming books. I add more than is wise to my TBR! I hope you stick with me and keep reading. Let me know what you think and if there is a book I missed!
